I just bought a pair of chrome-plated exhaust tips. On the inside of them, there is some light surface rust. What can I do to get rid of it, and prevent new rust from forming? Thanks.

steel wool them if you must........I wouldnt worry much after that, if theyre anything like exhaust pipe they will have a thick black carbon coating a few days later.
