I just put in new exhaust with an 80 series muffler and its way to loud!!!! i have big tips coming out the back do the tips make it so looud or is it the muffler.
It's an 84 z28 with new 350/350 engine cmpu cam and world heads big valves headrs and lots of other stuff car hauls but man is it loud!!!!!! will changing tips help any?
Yes the tips make it louder. Most people around here put big tips on their trucks to make them loud. You will notice a big difference if you were to take them off. Because so many trucks around here have them, it looks odd to have them on a Camaro. Just my opinion.
Hey D! I have the 80 series Flow on my Iroc also. When I first put it on, it had no tips, now I put the big 4" tipes on and it is not really much louder than without them before. It seems with the right motor and mods that these 80s will really come alive on 3rd Gens. Mine is loud, but not too loud. I like it, but everyone thinks I am always trying to get on it when I am just driving the car regular. I'd hate to hear them if I was trying to get on it actually!!!
A paint job!!! White w/ black sripes, Headers and y-pipe and 3" I-pipe, World-Class 5-speed swap, Disc Brake Rearend from WS6 TransAm, Lots More!!!!! If the funds are available!!
