Magna flow vs flowmaster

My friend has a ford lighting with a supercharger. We have similar set ups less his is a ford and mine is a 91Z28. I am pushing 8lbs of boost via paxton, tes headers and a 3in flowmaster cat back system. .. dual cats. Anyway, he put headers on, and a basani cat back system on his truck and it made huge differences. We took my car out after a run in his and you can actually hear the exhaust gasses trying to get out of the muffler. It sounds like an aircompresser pushing throuhg a straw Anyhow, on the lighting board someone had mentioned a muffler change to the magna flows and it resolved the problem. I was wondering if anyone else had any experience dealing with magna flow mufflers? And the problem i am having with the exhaust system? I looked into a 3.5-4inch oval exhaust kit and or a custom dual system but they are an arm and a leg I am attempting to save up for some afr heads and don't want to throw my cash in unnecessary parts....if ya know what i mean! Any help would be GREATLY APPRICIATED
