Problem with cat bypass pipe

Finally got the real pipe I want to use in....but it's a 3 inch pipe! I have the headers and all, but the Dynomax cat-back is 2.5 inches! What should I do? It's a bolt on test pipe, so...I'm a bit lost. Is this useless unless I get a 3 inch cat back?

you could get a small piece of exaust that is 2.5 on one side and 3 on the other I forget what they call it but go to your local parts store and they will probably have it I think it is called a test pipe or something. Hope that helps

Header reducers would work in this situation? One side of this pipe is flanged, just so you know...

And I don't have a 1/4 mile pass with everything on, I only have a pass for when I ran it without nitrous and the LT1 cam, and that was a 15.9.

The Ram Air was easy; all I did was use the stock snorkel, rip that stupid thermac device out that restricted flow, used some dryer duct, ran it to my high beam, removed the high beam, put some fine screening over it that looked nice, and ran the ducting through the rad support and I have Ram Air. I am going to run with that this Friday, should drop 2 tenths off my ET over the open element I was using.
