i wanna get a cutout for my exhaust, what i really want is the type that open and close with a lever from the inside so that way i dont have to climb under my car everytime i wanna open them up, im not sure whre to find these, any ideas? i wanna keep it pretty cheap too
electric cutouts are the way to go summit sells some i dont know how much. i tryed finding them but i couldnt so if someone could help me out that would be awsome.
i found those mr gasket cutouts in a summit catalog, but yeah they are only 2 1/4 i think i have either 2.5 or 3" piping so can an exhaust shop make like an adapter so i can still use those cutouts or do i need to find some other ones that are actually the same size as my pipe?

An adapter is possible, but you'd sorta lose the gains of a less restrictive exhaust by making it more restrictive.
electric opening for the cutout you can find in some internet stores
and cutout itself you can get cheap almost anywhere (I'm talking about internet shops)
well....if you just want a cutout.....any brand will do. I bought mine from Summit for like $30 bucks. As far as the electronic part comes in.....I have the McCord Power Plate II.....I love it!...never had any problems at all. It has a good warrenty too. I've heard that the quick time electric cutout outs are good too.
