Just bought my Exhaust!

Well...I just went out and bought my exhaust. The previous owner of the car remove the catalytic and was running it with a straight pipe right back to the muffler. The muffler was an OEM GM muffler.

Well I decided to go out and get me a magnaflow cat and muffler. Total came to $230 CDN. Hoping to get it all installed this weekend. My neighboor has a garage with ramps so I am gonna see if I can borrow the garage to do this install.

My car ran real rich. Ran like crap actually. Real sputtery and rough. With the Catalytic on and the new unholy muffler, when I am sitting at a light my car no longer makes a farty bloaty sound and shakes. Now...I just need to get a terra clean done so I can get all the impurities burnt out of the engine and get this baby road trip worthy.

How do you rate the sound? Idle, accelerating, flooring it, high revs, etc. Sound quality, noise level, etc. Give a report, everyone on here seems to be Flows and Hooker.

Well..

Sound = Burly. Nice low rumble at idle and when you really get on it heads turn. Right now though, there is a weird smell from the exhaust. I think its cause the cat is new and not broken in yet.

I find that for 200$ (Cat and muffler) that this was a damn good choice. Didn't really notice an increase in performance however I did get my NOX tested and my car is now E-Tested OK even though E-Testing is not mandatory up here. I just got one more item to hook up and then I am good to go.
