SLP donut gaskets

Does someone make a set that actually seals?

Have cut weled and aligned exhaust and they still start making that wonderful cracking sound under load and its causing knock.

Someone , anyone, helllllllllllllllllllllllllllllp

Searching did not give me an answer or browsing summit either?

do they exist?

thanks
Jeremy

They have them at the local auto parts stores also, don't get suckered into buying them from slp, the prices there blow chunks.

I think you have to ask for donut gaskets for a 75 chevy pickup or something like that, they won't know what the hell you are talking about otherwise, maybe someone will post the correct appication or a part number. I think flowmaster has some also?

No! I've tried the coiled/graphite type, two different solid types, with and without Ultra Copper, cutting and aligning the drivers side y-pipe - nothing seems to work. My passenger side seals 100%. The driver side just won't seal I've gotten really good at replacing them. The driver's side seals almost completely until I open up the secondaries, then it blows out again, and continues to get worse until I replace them again. I'm about ready to pull them off, cut off the collector flange and weld on Flowmasters new 3" ball flange system.

The donut gasket you'll need from the parts store is a 2 and 17/32" inner diameter. Used on GM large displacement trucks (350-454) from the mid 70s to mid 90s.
