Edelbrock Ceramic Coated TES

Does anybody have the factory ceramic coated Edelbrock TES headers??? Part number is 68722. I have pretty much decided the TES are the best bang for the buck and the price for factory ceramic coated is $439 from Jegs. Anyone have em???

Excellent!! How do they look? Ceramic quality seem to be up to par?

if i had a camera i would take pics

they look great.

ive never seen other ceramic headers so i cant really compare.

they have nice flowing bends in them, and of coarse include all hardware.

did they include y-pipe and if so how good is it? does it bottleneck down too much and does it end with 3" or smaller?

Had 'em for a few years. The coating on the headers is great. The coating on the y-pipe however, sucks donkey balls. It's flaking off and rusting. KEEP YOUR RECEIPT as Edel has really crappy cust. service. Even though you have the product in hand (allegedly with a lifetime warranty) they will not fulfill said warranty without the receipt.

I believe the Y pipe is 2 1/4". I will have to check the diameter of where it hooks up with the cat though. The y pipe is probably the worst part.

Note they have two different systems, the smaller for the 305 non-tpi, and the three inch for the L98, that's the number 6872 with the 2 coating. Been looking hard at these myself, keep the info coming please.

i got mine installed, and love them, the y pipe bolted nicely, its like 2.25 or 2.5" where the headers meet the y pipe, and the y pipe comes together in a 3"

i believe its a great design.
