which is better duel exhaust or custom pipes for the f-body style - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

I have some hooker headers that runs into a 2 and half inch pipe that dumps out into a duel outlet flowmaster muffler ,the system pretty much fits in all the stock spots, would it be best to keep it like that ? Cause I've seen some guys with camaro's that have duel exhuast that is dumped right out of mufflers. so for better flow which would be better?

Is this a single exhaust that you have? And are they long tube headers, or shorties?

Dual exhaust is pretty difficult (read: expensive) to do on these cars because of ground clearance issues.

I would just go with a single exhaust system of 3" tubing all the way back to the muffler.
