quick header question

they make aluminum headers for our cars right? are these expensive?

dammit.... ok well i just thought for some odd reason they did since they make aluminum heads.... i guess ill just polish up some steel ones and see how they look

Get them ceramic coated and polish the ceramic coating If you just polish a steel header it will rust and corrode like crazy.

i no this prob. sounds very crude and lazy.. but does that high temp 1500 degree spray paint with ceramic work good on headers? is there any primer or sealant needed if it will work at all? thanks

It will not burn off but it will not perform the same as a true ceramic coating.

Get them sandblasted so that the metal is as clean as possible. After that, follow the instructions on the can.
