hooker aerochamber 305 cat or not?

im looking into the hooker aerochamber catback 3in yada yada, but which would so meaner? with a cat or without? i dont like that uh.. noise when i rev it up and let off and it sounds GAY as it like slowly revs down... i wanna avoid having THAT noise too.

Removing your cat may produce crackling/poping on the rev down. It does not do this with my 80 series though. If you have emission tests forget it, you will most likely not pass without a cat.

in my own personal opinion I think the non-cat sound is annoying. I got a Catco 3 inch High-Flow cat from eBay for 50 shipped to my door. It's basically as good as no cat, but still with the emissions goodies

ok new question. high flow cat, does it affect the sound? ie: cat vs. no cat?

the cat gets rid of some of the raspiness and "metal coughing" as I like to think of it on deacceleration, and in general as well.
