A little spintech info.

i didn't know which one you were referring too..there are a few different styles on there, i know they have the crossflow aka split case on there site...comes in 3-4" applications, that is what is featured on the mufflex systems...but then they have the reverse flow, in/out is on the same side, thats kind of cool, i don't quite know what you would use that for, but whatever..then they got the side exit exhaust on there, thats the one that looked pretty interesting to me...

i wanna know if they make a side exit kit for our cars...or i could make mine own if i could get my hands on some tips like that....anybody know where i can get a set of tips like that? just like a long thin tube would be sweet, and just run like your exhuast tucked right next to the driveshaft tunnel, then come out to the side with a big long skinny tip like that...you would hardly loose any ground clearance...how restrictive you think a tip like that would be??? thats not a bad idea...

I was wondering if anybody knows if these spintech mufflers are availible locally here in PA? And are these mufflers REALLY better sounding than flowmaster. I don't want to start a muffler fight though, LOL.

I find Flows to be too damn loud. Obnoxious. You have to shout to converse with your passengers and you can't hear the tunes unless it's cranked way up. Headache!! That interior resonant drone on the highway is horrible.

Gimmie a Magnaflow. Not too loud at idle or even on the freeway. Loudern'hell at WOT, when you don't give a damn. Plus, how can you have *less* backpressure than with a straight-through design? Pick up a Maggie and look through it, you can see through to the other side. Hell, even the guys working at the local Flowmaster dealer told me they personally prefer Magnaflow. They sell Magnaflow/Carsound cats.

Can you look clear through a Spintech? Yes or no?

No, they have little semicircles welded into them.
