breslin header bolts

please hellp! I start my used hooker 2055 header installation early next week on my vacation. I'm going with 3/8x3/4 . will this be good to do the job on my 84 lg4. olso need header gasket style or part number to go along with 2055. original set was torn. looking to upgrade the gasket.

The bolts will be fine. You'll need longer ones with spacers the length of the manifold thickness for AC/PS & A.I.R. bracket mounting, if applicable.

FelPro 1404 or Mr. Gasket Ultraseal are what I have used. FelPro for 3-1/2 years with no problems, Ultraseal currently on the car.

i had a question would it be alright to run the a/c bracket so it bolts up to the inner wheelwell instead of running it back toward the motor,shouldnt it hold just as well,if bolted to the fenderwell,it would run horizontally instead of vertical,and do the same on the drivers side with the alternator bracket which right now bolts to the first exhaust stud,switch the two brackets,and bolt them to there own sides of the wheelwells,your just switching the way they run from a vert to a horizontal location,i measured both of the brackets, and they both reach the wheelwells, were they could be bolted in ,and that way i could go ahead and bolt up my breslins header bolts, and not have to worry about spacers and longer studs,hell these breslins arent cheap, i figure this should give enough support to the two pieces, what are your thoughts on idea?

Ummmm. NO. Have someone rev the engine while you watch it torque (twist) in the engine bay. That should answer your question right there.
If you think about it, the only mounting points between the engine and the body are the two motor mounts (flexible rubber or poly) and the transmission mount (rubber or poly). The exhaust is usually held by flexible rubber brackets and the fuel and coolant lines have flexible sections between the body and motor. Now maybe if you were running solid motor mounts, that might be OK, but that's pretty rare. Think what that brace would do as the motor torques...
