it does have dual out lets, is the 80 series the only one that has dual out lets because the guy I got it from said it was a 40 series, but I wanted to be sure.
Thx for the info
If it's got a number similar to: 42583, it's an 80 series crossflow muffler. The fourth position should be "8" , signifying 80 series.

Edit: just because it has dual outlets doesn't automatically mean it's an 80 series. Depends on where the outlet is in relation to inlet. If the inlet is on one end, and dual outlets on opposite end, it's not an 80 series.
Only flowmasters I've ever seen with one 3" inlet and two 2.5" outlets were 80s series. 3" inlet and one 2.5" out on one side, a single 2.5" out on the other.
Also possible its an older model with 3" on all three, I've heard rumors that those existed at one time.
If the outlets are on opposite ends of the case, it's a good bet it's an 80 series. If the outlets are on the same end of the case, it's not going to be an 80 series. Flowmaster, Inc.
Check these out. If it doesn't match one of these, you are SOL.
