how to stop header bolts from coming loose?

hey guys i been getting problems with the bolts holding my exhuast to my headers they keep going loose and falling off, i have lost about 10 bolts now and each time they go i have to hear this terrible pinging sound as i accelerate, how can i stop them from doing this??

Use locking bolts, or bolts drilled for safety wire.

Yes use those Stage 8 and your done for good....Never never had any
come loose again...

I just use the round star washers or what ever they are called. Works for me.

A company called Breslin makes a stainless steel split locking bolt - it has an allen head locker within the header bolt that splits the end of the bolt within the head, like a wall anchor for drywall. I tried everything else and this was the ticket - they are expensive at about $80 a set, but put with a dead-soft aluminum gasket and you're set.

Jeg's carries some Breslin products, but I didn't see the header bolts:

I don't like the Breslins because the 12 point head they use is impossible to get a wrench onto with most headers.
