Hooker 2210

Got two questions hoping somebody might help. First off Jethot.com sells their coated 2210's for about 75 bucks less than jegs anyone ever purchased from these guys before? Also I have read how these headers do not come with the o2 sensor bung. Have anyone ever used these--Hooker 11046 - Hooker Headers Header Reducers I plan to have a system made at a custom shop three inhes from the headers back. using a 383 with 89 vette heads HSR etc. Thanks for the help.

Re: Hooker 2210

I had my SLP headers coated by JetHot, they were still in great shape when I sold them and bought a used set of 2210s. I sent the 2210's to them in very rusty shape, and they came back as good as new... top notch..

If you're having a custom exh made, the shop should be able to put an O2 bung anywhere you want/need one, they are less than $10 for the bung and cap. I drilled the hole and welded my O2 bung in the 2210's before I sent them to jethot, but they could have been added afterwards just as easy.

Re: Hooker 2210

JetHot is an A+ company bar none. I've read and heard many many positive comments on them as a company. As far as 02 bungs I have a pair installed and they do not have bungs. You'll need and extension to get the bungs or weld in ones for your custom Y pipe (enter Mufflex plug here!).
