Borla help

Hi,

I had made a thread earlier about my borla exhaust being to restrictive. It is the 3' adjustable one for the 1988 GTA. I found out if looking at the rear of the car on the right side one pipe goes strait out and the other goes through the muffler. There is a plate adjusting how much air is let out and how much goes through the muffler. All I need to know is if I take this plate out do I need to replace it ith a free flowing one or can I bolt the exhaust togerther without metal in between it.

Thannks

Re: Borla help

cool video zepher, looks like if you mess up on that course you end up in the ocean/bay?

ive never done autox, but i would like to. but those cone courses just look very confusing to me, how the heck do you know where to go?

Re: Borla help

The water looks really close to the course, but there is a lot of sand between the end of the concrete and the water.

You walk the course to get a sense of the layout and you learn how to read the layout of the cones. If you note, some cones are lying on thier side, these are pointer cones telling you which side to go around.

It is really confusing the first few events but you get the hang of it.
