I ran my car a few times last year for the first time with my new combo. My question is, after a while when my headers start to rust pretty bad, can I pull them off and have them blasted and coated? How much would a process like this cost me. I won't do it for another few years, just curious. P.S. i have the Hooker 2210's Super Comps.

Thanks for the reply. What is the price range on something like this? Also, does having the slip fit connection on the pass side header affect the coating?
check around locally first,I got my shortys blasted&jet-hot coated for $125.
Don't know if anyone in Appleton Wis. does this but thought I would throw that idea out there.
Check at any powdercoating companies in the local yellow pages.
And as five7kid mentioned about the coating of used headers, yes it can be done.
sorry, not trying to hijack a thread but the coating on headers is nothing but some kind of powdercoating? It my not be as stylish as the chrome look but would regular powder coating do the same thing?
