I just received my kit. The instructions say that it will work for dual or single cat cars. I've found that the intermediate pipe is about 4 inches short of reaching the factory y-pipe coming off the cats.
i got mine from hott exhaust for 420.00
im having it installed right now, i also got a pair of stainless hooker 2460s and the hooker y pipe. everything fit except for where the cat was supposed to go, so my mechanic just put a different pipe in there and it all looks smooth . i cant wait to hear it.
their website is hottexhaust.com
product number 16829
hey man, i just went to that site and their price is 476 now? what gives? anyone else got a site i can order it from

do you have dual cats??? also is the pipe flared like OEM???
You can get the kit at hottexhaust.com where it asks for a coupon code enter "veedub" SLP-GTA, I do have dual cats, the connection is a slip fit. Here is a picture of the connection. http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f2.../Magnaflow.jpg

i owe you one man, you saved be a ton of money, instead of 426, i got it for 360. thanks a ton!
I got mine today on ups. All in all it looks to be a nice system. Clean bends, huge tips and well made. However, the outlets on the muffler are only 2.5"od and 2.25"id I thought they would be 3". The inlet is 3"id .
I'll post pics later

since u ordered from hottexhaust, how fast did u get it? when did u order it b/c i ordered from them on tuesday but havent got a tracking # or anything yet, aside from the confirmation email
whoever ordered from hottexhaust, did u get it yet b/c i called 2 days ago they said it was shipped out the day before, and i would receive the tracking number that night but i still havent gotten any word about my order besides the confirmation page. please tell me this company didnt just screw me
If you ordered from Hottexhaust, they don't send a tracking number. Do like I did, call and ask for it. BMAN90RS, my exhaust arrived in just over a week.
I see. Well I assume this would work on my TBI because all at once I will be putting on some hooker shorty headers, cutting out the catylitic converter, and adding a mccord power plate cutout. The new magnaflow system should hook up with this setup, correct?
BUT, if your already dropping $$$$ on a stainless cat-back, just drop the extra $100 and get a 3" highflow cat, it will be well worth the money TRUST ME!!!
And honestley, you might as well get headers and a y-pipe to complete the set-up cause you wont be happy untill you do
I like the magnaflow cat back, i got one for a forth gen and just made some changes. The stock hangers in the rear are just about the same positions, mine were in stock places but not stock so it worked. the only difference is the cat, 4th gens have the 's' pipe that i replaced with a 45* pipe right to my cat. sounds really good, very deep and if you drive sanely it can be pretty quiet..when you get on it its loud and people know your coming. ill try to get a vid soon.

Sorry, can't trust you because, there is no such thing as a "high flow cat".
They are all built the same now. In Calif. they even made them stop putting "high flow" on the box.

Can't trust him? Geez....Mr Paranoid, are you?
Aftermarket cats, such as the Magnaflow, outflow the factory, 20 yr old cats, even when they were brand new. They out flow a facory replacement one from Autozone or such.

Has anyone else with dual cats had this issue or any other installation problems?
