exhaust stud size

hey, wondering if anybody could tell me the size of the exhaust studs(the ones that thread into the exhaust manifolds) for my 86' t/a.. the thread size in particular, I dont have a thread depth gauge..thanks

It's a 3/8"NC thread. Probable around 2" long or so. You mean the ones that thread into the head, and hold the exhaust manifold on to the head don't you?

no...I'm looking for the studs that thread into the manifold....bolts the y-pipe to the manifold, I'm lookin for the pitch of the threads

Which year did they change the thread size? The following link states that it is M10 -1.5 pitch (for an '88).

It is definately M10x1.5, confirmed on rockauto.com.

Yes, I checked rockauto, too. I also just ordered the studs. The assorted kit is by Motormite #03100.
