lt1 manifolds in a 3rd gen

do stock manifolds off an 86 z fit on the lt1, or should i just get some shorties and a y pipe for it?.... this is for an lt1 swap into the camaro.

"Fit" is a relative term. They will bolt onto the heads, but the ports will be partially covered.

Headers would be a much better way to go.

So if third gen manifolds are restrictive to the ports on an LT1, does that mean that LT1 manifolds would open the flow on my 92' 305?
