2.5" collector and 3" exhaust?? - Exhaust - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

Hey, I just bought a set of flowtech headers. I realized that they are 2.5" collectors I think. I have a 350 tpi. If I have someone custom weld a setup, could I have a y-pipe made that fits into a 3" exhaust system? (I dont know anything about exhaust fabrication)

do you have the flowtech Y pipe ? if so you could use it , or have it converted to 3" where the two pipes meet . it worked for me . good luck .
