Loud Mufflers?

So my car has a flowmaster on it now and it is way to quiet for me. So my question is what the loudest muffler I can get for my car? I like it Loud yet Toned....the more Rumble and Loudness the better

Re: Loud Mufflers?

I would say go with glass packs... I was reading a thread before about cherry bombs vs thrush and the thrush sounds really good. Also another idea I have read on here quite a few times is you can put SLP Loudmouth on your car with slight modifications.

My cat was clogged and I am low on funds so I unbolted my cat (I could only get one side off) then took a piece of rebar and beat out all of the honeycomb inside cranked it up, reved it up to about 5 grand a few times, and let the stuff fly out. I have a little bit I didn't get to cause it started to rain but its sounds great on my tired 305. I have a flowmaster 80 series and will be hooking it up to see how it sounds, but if it is still really mellow even with a gutted cat I will eventually just go with glasspacks.

And I thought I was the only one that hollowed out cats like that...
I agree go with glasspacks. They won't even be to loud on that motor... the 5.0 TPI.

Do you have a high-flow converter?
