as most of you know, my gta has a cat back exhaust on it, and thats it, no engine or trans, no headers, y pipe, cat... bought the car for 700 dollars
well, today I sold one of my hoods for 250.(scavette is a really nice guy by the way).. which made it 450 dollars that I had into the car at that point :] Then I spent 100 dollars on a pair of hedman headers, a headman Y pipe, and a stock cat that's been hollowed out :] Which brings my current investment up to a whoppping 550 dollars :] I got the exhaust from the guy I got the car from, and he threw in some other things that he didn't realize he still had, some little brackets and such. but the real beauty was the aluminum radiator and the two electric fans!!! That just saved me a LOT of money :]
and to make it even better, he still has the original trans that it turns out he's not going to be needing, and he told me I could have it for 100 and he'd hold on to it for me :] I would have bought it right there on the spot, buy my wifes birthday is this weekend and before I sold the hood I was BROKE :P Not going to be bad, after I get the trans I'll have 650 into a car that needs an engine, windshield, tail light, and headlight motor, but has poly bushings in the rear suspension, headers and catback, original gta wheels with good rubber on them, no rust, no dents and a really nice interior :] I couldnt be happier
