Re: My mild cam'd 327 tpi(flowmaster 80)

he has a real 327 with a 4" bore. Ask your dad; he probably knew someone that had a 350hp 327 or a 365hp 327. My old man has a 365horse 327 in his 55 chevy. It used to have 11:1 pistons and a duntov 30-30 solid cam. My mom wouldnt ride in it so he tamed it down, still an honest 350hp though, plenty in a 3500pd street car.

My dad is in love with an old school 327 with TPI on it. Hes following this with interest

OH okay. i just wans't sure if it was stroked because when I watched the video it said 333 ci so I got a little confused. Iknow powerhouse makes a 335 stroker kit. 327 motors are amazing. High reving and they make big power.

yes sir its a true blue 1968 327 shortblock with a 1991 L98 top end setup.

It needs better flowing parts like runners and such, but it moves and sounds great for what it is

my motor is only 9.9:1 and tiny cam(to not make computer freak out)

dont kid yourself...i have a tune issue where the stock timing map is only at 29 degrees advanced and anyone whos played with a mild sbc knows 34-35 is what they like. The smoke is valve seals.....im in no hurry to fix these heads due to world products going on this fall.

the 700r4 needs swapped out due to its barely holding the power right now...leat alone this thing start running at full steam hehe

but thanks for kind words so far
