Re: shortys and y-pipe ?
Doesn't matter, go to TPI section of Jegs, my car is carbuerated also, that is where you'll find headers and y-pipe to fit our cars.... or Jegs/ Summit look up 82-92 3rd gen camaro/ firebird exhaust f-body cars

Re: shortys and y-pipe ?
I am using Hedman Elites, but they have cheaper models, w/ a ypipe. Yes your car will be louder but it helps them breathe and run better...

Re: shortys and y-pipe ?
I went with hooker 2055's. Good fit, and probably one of the best ypipes on the market. if i can remember correctly thier in the $400 price range.

I thought the 2055's with the y pipe didn't work on 91 and 92? I ask because I have a 91 tbi also. Did you have to do anything special?

nope. just can't use the stock cat i believe because the y pipe has a 3in collector. you can get a reducer or a high flow cat or just do what i did and get the mac off road pipe wich comes with the egr fitting.
