Exhaust header gasket hooker 2055??? - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

I have hooker 2055 headers and I have bought new header gasket set but the ports in the gasket are 1.45x 1.45. The port on the header are 1.33 x 1.55. the old gaskets I recieved with the 2055 are 1.33 x 1.38. If I use the new gasket 1.45 x 1.45 I will have very little sealing left in the upper corners of the gasket. What gasket are you using with hooker 2055? please type partnr so I can check them out.

ahh so a gasket with round ports works? Isnt it to small in the upper and lower of the gasket or does it burn off?

I had the same problem, I got the round port, the 2055's are square port so I had to send them back to swap for the square ports. They should arrive here any day now.

2055 square??? Mine are not square more oval but round will fit just fine I think. The ones that came with the 2055 are 1.35 x 1.35 they fit but not the 1.45x 1.45. I'm afraid of using them because there are only 1-2mm left of the gasket in the upper corners.
