Has anybody tried these???

Not likely. Even third-gen specific longtubes are a very tight fit.

They fit very well, and are easy to install.
Comparable to hookers? IDK, you get what you pay for, I guess.

Performance on them is good, but I think you might have to clearance the K-member a bit. Lots of info on them if you search. If you ask me, shorty's are the way to go on our cars.

i dont hear good things about shorty headers...all i hear is long tubes are the way to go

Personal preference I guess. Shorty headers actually make better low and mid-range torque, but long tubes make better peak power. What I like about shorty headers is that they actually bolt up to a stock or cat-back exhaust system if you use the Y pipe. Better ground clearance too.
