Need Exhaust Help

I currently have the Mufflex setup with the 3" Y into a single 4" pipe over the rear into a Magnaflow 4" muffler. I want to run a Spohn Torque arm and relocate to the crossmember, but this will interfear with the exhaust. So does anyone make a true dual exhaust for a 3rd gen? Any exhaust out there better then the Mufflex setup?

Re: Need Exhaust Help

Hey Rob...One of the reasons why I never went with the Spohn arm was the exhaust. I believe you can get a system made from the collectors on back, just as the "Y" pipe runs now, back to the rear end, and just put mufflers and turn downs there, right before the rear. The only thing is I believe it will not pass PA inspection with it that way. I do not know your intentions with the car. BTW, killer videos you posted on the racing board!!!

Re: Need Exhaust Help

I've seen lots of pics on TGO of "true duals" on third gens. If having the mufflers under the car with turndowns is not a problem for you,(right before the rear) I'm sure a shop can build you what you are looking for. If they would just continue the design of the Mufflex "Y" off of the collector and continue it down under the tunnel, making sure there is no ground clearance problems as they go it can be had. I"m sure a GOOD exhaust fabricator can do a nice professional job. Maybe not a job for your TYPICAL exhaust shops though.
