Howdy all, I've run into a snag with my intermediate pipe on my 2otL cat-back. I bought it used and for ages the bend on the i pipe that goes to the cat was missing. Which was okay as I just used the bend from the original pipe as a temp fix. Well that peice has finally rusted out and now I need to have a new bend fabbed.
SLP no longer sells new parts for the old 3rd gen 2otL catbacks. However, the sales rep recommended I buy a new i-pipe for one of their 4th gen LS1 cat-backs and tweak that. The part he recomended is $21 (10168s).
Should I look for one from a LT1 instead on their site would that be easier to tweak? Not many local shops can do 3" mandrel, and those that do what $100 just for the bend.
