Heading to Summit on Saturday. Which headers.

Me and my buddies are headed out to summit and I need to pick up headers, a y-pipe, and a few other things. My question is what header and y-pipe combo can I run on a budget and will bolt up to my cat back which mounts in the stock location.

Re: Heading to Summit on Saturday. Which headers.

Depends on what you mean by cheap. I got the Hooker 2055 headers with y-pipe from Summit and they are fantastic. I had to widen out the side of the cat pipe a bit to get the 3" y-pipe to fit, but there was no welding required. The set cost just over $500.

Looking to spend around 300. I know I know you get what you pay for. Oh well. I was looking at hedmans and even flowtech but I need to know which ones (model number). Thanks.

Re: Heading to Summit on Saturday. Which headers.

is your engine stock? im sure you know slp stop making 1-3/4 inch shorties a while back, (tobad) but Dyno don makes close to the same header ceramic coated for 550.00 give or take. i ordered a set with the y pipe. he even makes the y pipe if you need it (recommended) yull find him here on thirdgen. if your engine is stock, you woudnt need them. just go with whats on your mind. you cant go wrong.

cheers mate
