Flowtech 11116FLT Headers Install Help!!!

I'm pretty new to performance mods. In the past I've just tried to keep my vehicles running, but I'm trying to have a little fun with my old high school '84 Autoform Conversion. I purchased the Flowtech headers thinking they were basically "plug and play," but once I got them in the mail, the instructions tended to say otherwise. Has anyone here actually installed these with the factory Y-Pipe? If so, how did you connect? Did you use an aftermarket Y-Pipe? What y-pipes (if any) work with these headers? I'd like to keep the catalytic converter, but I can legally do without it if there's a bolt up option that works. Anybody have a step by step of what they actually did (i.e. hopefully with pictures)?? I'd rather avoid ridicule of this particular brand in favor of others. It doesn't solve my current problem . . .

Thanks,

Taylor
