2 cats, I cant decide which is better
Which one do you think is better for my application. 1988 Camaro Iroc 350, stock exhaust, stock everything.
These are factory exact bolt in. In your experience, which one of these flowed better/sounded better?

The cheaper one - cats have nothing to do with sound, and all aftermarkey cats are hi flow.

The Magnaflow says no AIR pipe. But the picture shows it having one.
I have the Catco. No problems with it. Stephen has the Magnaflow. No problems with it.

From my own personal experience i would say magnaflow, When I replaced the cat on my 89 IROC with a 305 the exhaust was all factory and the magnaflow cat DID make a difference. It was alot more aggresive sounding especially when it is started. Also i orderd one without the AIR tube and the guy at the exhaust shop swapped mine for another one with a AIR tube

I would prefer the Magnaflow just because I like there exhaust, it looks nicer, and it's cheaper.

Thanks for the info man. Ill check it out.
I prior to this weekend i wasnt 100% sure it was the cat, so i went and tapped the cat to see if i could hear stuff moving around, which i can, but not much.
Anyway, i took the hammer and gave the cat a few slams to break the clog up, and when i took it out for a drive it was like a totally different car. The tires chirped 2nd gear (auto) i could barely get it to spin thenm from a stop when i first got the car.
Im now sure its the cat.
Thanks, everone for help.
