92 belt length 3.1 with AC w/o smog

I need help in the worse way. My smog pump locked up and the belt broken when I was in an undesirable part of town. I just want to bypass the smog pump. I have searched the postings but could not find the length of the serpatine belt. I have a 92 RS with a 3.1 with A/C. Does anybody know the length of the belt w/o smog pump????

Thanks

Re: 92 belt length 3.1 with AC w/o smog

Your best chance is to go to a parts store and start trying belts

There is not specific routing or length that Im aware of. Some V6's were not equipped with AIR and had a serp belt but they were ALL equipped with a delete pulley in its place which Ive never seen sold short of a junkyard

Thats no good. I read a writeup a long time ago when I deleted mine that told me the correct belt size etc, but that was for a 305 not a V6. Just string it around, measure the string and keep your tensioner tight!
