| Re: chambered exhaust help What I did is run shorty style headers and fabbed a 2 1/2" y pipe following the stock dual cat routing but in place of the cats I put (2) 18" Chambered mufflers, next I turned 45* and followed the stock routing straight back towards the rear and then put 90* turns towards the passenger side; exits dual in front of passenger rear tire using the 4th gen Z 28 offset megaphone SS tips side by side, a true 2 1/2" dual system. Had to fab up a few hangers to the transmission torque arm mount and to the sub frame by the passenger side rear tire.
For reference I have about $300 worth of materials and about 30 hours labor cutting, test fitting, bending and welding, as I fabbed the headers too.
It is for sure nascar inspired with pretty good ground clearance, now this isn't my daily driver so ground clearance/noise were not my main concern, because it's pretty loud but sounds like no other chevy I've heard in person, very close to the sounds on GMMG website. For those wondering it also clears UMI subframe connectors perfectly.
Next time I put it on a lift I'll see if I can shoot some pics,
