Hey everyone. Quick question... I'm trying to purchase an edelbrock sdt muffler with a 3 in. inlet and dual 2.5 in . outlets but am running into roadblocks left and right. The part # off of edelbrock's site is 55763 but I can't seem to find this anywhere. Even when i finally thought i found it i received an email saying that the part was discontinued.
can anyone verify this or shoot me a link to where it is. it might mean that i have to buy the whole catback which is something i'm trying to avoid. my pipes are in good condition and i plan on deleting the cat anyway. thanks for your help
thanks. i'm trying to stay at least 3 in. though. i'm gonna call up edelbrock today to see if they'll let me buy the muffler i'm looking for without the rest of the piping. i have a bad feeling though
I actually wound up buying the whole system and i have been 200% satisfied with it. It sounded better than i thought it would and it came with 2, 24in by 3 in. polished stainless tips which IMO look great. the install was pretty straightforward. i'll post some pictures/videos up when i get a chance of before and after.
as for the name of it. if you read correctly the muffler is sDt, not sTd. I believe it's Sound Deflection Technology
i also like the RPM muffler.
ea eng. sounds a bit Diff. My old 383 11.1 mech roller.was clean
and was free flowing.. car was in the 11's with it. with just the eng.
