Does anyone know how those http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1983-...item563605e28c headers perform? They also come with an y-pipe. Seem like some brand name replica to me but I cant recognise it. anyone?

they don't list any specs on them so there would be no way to know. they do look like hooker 2055's a little but with differences.

They look nice, I was going to get a set of those but didn't want the AIR tubes. They are probably something along the lines of the Procomp line of performance parts; they are chinese copies of a famous performance part. I would be most concerned with the weld quality on them as well as the sealing quality against the head.

I can say this though; a buddy of mine bought a set of stainless steel no-name headers off ebay about three years ago for his truck, and they were pretty nice. They discolored a little after running due to the heat, but they haven't rusted and so far have not leaked either.
