Re: good exhaust setups?

im running headman shortys with the matching y into a flowmaster cat back system. ran good on my 305 tbi.
think im gunna switch to long tubes for the 383 though want to go with cut outs for the track.

Re: good exhaust setups?

this is what i did. as far as headers, i'd go with hooker 2055 y pipe included. then a 3 inch high flow cat or cat delete(mac). then a fairly priced 3 inch dual 2.5 out cat back. i started with a edelbrock, then wasn't satisfied so i swapped the muffler for a flowmaster 80 series and swapped the intermediate pipe for a full 3 inch one (edelbrocks necks down to 2.5 to bolt up to the stock cat) now saving up to replace my edeldynoflowmaster catback with a gmmg or maybe an slp lm. just do the research and save money and time doing it all right the first time.

Re: good exhaust setups?

Here is the system I have on mine.

Edlebrock headers: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ED...3/?image=large the current set I have are not coated. But they look just like this design.

Borla cat back system: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BOR-14888/
