long tubes, spohn crossmember

alright heres the deal. ive got a 91 firebird and my buddy has a set of hedman longtubes for it for cheep. ive got hedman shorties and y pipe on it now goin to a 3" flowmaster cat back. however i want to run cut outs at the track with the long tubes. so i would like to see pics of people with longtubes cutouts right off the collector then into a y pipe for the single exhaust setup. my car is stock height, 700r4, just has a spohn torque arm and cross member.

Check out pictures this link. DTL504 did want you want and also has a 700r transmission. There is not enough room to run exhaust pipes from headers above torque arm with 700r. You will have to snake exhaust around cross member per photo. Let us know how it turns out.

Re: long tubes, spohn crossmember

I searched the other day for "long headers torque arm" and saw a setup where exhaust pipes were ran underneath torque arm. Guy had custom cross member made so exhaust pipes tucked up neat to body. I like the idea of snaking them around to make maintenance easier on transmission.
