Best fit and horsepower, sound...headers

Whats your guys opinion on the easiest to install shorty headers with y-pipe. I got a 1991 Z28 1LE with 5.7 liter automatic. Car has dual cats. Whats your opinion. Car also has Borla exhaust but i was thinking on going with the American Thunder exhaust later. Does this exhaust sound better than the Borla and does it have more horsepower or about the same as the Borla?

with all honesty cat back exhausts are more of a sound preference than a performance gain. switching catbacks most likely wont show any gain at all unless the borla is a custom non mandrel with 1" pipe. from what i have heard from people tho, the borla is more a keeper than the flowmaster. all opinion tho.

If you want to squeeze out every last bit of power get SLP headers. I got the Edelbrock and seem to suit my needs just fine for the price.
Like said, switching to Flowmaster won't help a bit, and from what I've heard flowmaster isn't the best for flow.
