I know that with the later style RA hoods for these cars, you can buy them with a kit to make them fully functional i.e. cold air is directed from the scoops into the intake. With this earlier style like you have, I think that the most you can do (without fabrication skills) is cut open the back of the scoops so the engine bay gets fresh air, but not the intake.

Either way, the hood looks cool.

have pics but they are not that great...will take new ones after work today... you would need your old latch and spring, jst need to check on the bolts .. not sure if you use your old bolts or not, e-mail sent with address
