If you can describe or show to me how deep those gouges are on that nosecone, I'll have all the info I need. Just want to make sure it isn't damaged...scuffed is fine. |

| Re: 91-92 style 2 peice gta tail lights...near perfect. i think if u ask anyone on this site...that these lights are so hard to find.
i personally feel you got a great deal on these. if you would have bouht them new....which i know is virtually impossible to do now adays....even in america...there are no broken tabs. i found 2 sets in the last 6 years that have had broken screw tabs, a cracked lens....there is something wrong with them. this set was near perfect. no breaks, no cracks, do physical damage done to the lights.
you do what you want.
when i took them apart and clean them the spots you see in the pics is not dirt. i used a scrub brush to clean all of the dirt off of these. after removing any dirt on the inside...and placing them back together they looked great. i even hooked them up and they looked great. if you have ever seen a set of these for $300...cause you have to remember that it was over $80 something dollars just to ship this to you.
not only did i have to ship it to switzerland (cause that is where you live), the box for the insurance when shipping that far you have to have a certain size box or they wont insure it. now see i purchased a bigger box so i could wrap the tail lights in bubble wrap, and surround them in the foam.
all procautions were taken to ensure nothing would happen to these....because we are talking shipping to switzerland from kc, ks....
if you want to be upset because you paid for something that you saw....if you would have asked for more pics i would have gladly taken them for you.
i want you to understand that these are....near perfect... so if i ask you for additional $20 bucks to help cover the cost of my time, then there is the fact of paypal. if you are so upset just forget it. your not worth getting all worked up about.
i try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt when i am buying from this site. and when i sell anything to anyone i want them to be satified with whatever it is i am selling. look at the actual price you spent for the lights and then figure in the shipping, packageing, and payal amount.....then you can make decision...
these were never said to be perfect. they were nearly perfect. thanks for your time. i would appreciate any thoughts that anyone would like to add to this ad. thanks |

Your wining because you had to shipp over the pond I dont uderstand and dosent make sense.
Plastics exept some surface scratches are in good condition as you claim tough.
Well loks like you got one vote from bully. You think he would pay 300$+shipping and packing?
It took me over 9 hours to get these lights apart (luckly nothing broke) and clean. I still need to buff the scratches. |
