Car: 1991 Firebird Engine: 305 TBI | Parts in IL, must go by 05/09 Need to make room for my parts car. I have a black hood and a black hatch (metal is a bit rusted on hatch, but glass is great). Both are base style parts from a 91 firebird. They must go by friday or they will hit the junkyard. Must pickup.
I also have power window motors from my old doors. The previous owner of the car said they were fairly new, and they worked great when I took them out of the car. I simply don't wanna bother converting the new doors to power. These I will ship, although it might cost a bit since they are heavy.
Make me offers!

Car: 1991 Firebird Engine: 305 TBI | Re: Parts in IL, must go by 05/09 Anyone else interested? 20+ shipping on the window motors (one of them pending maybe) and make me an offer and come pick up the hood and hatch. It'd be nice to get a bit more than their raw scrap value, but right now I just need those big things out of here. |

And the hatch in this picture:
Sorry I don't have better pics of the parts themselves, everything is so cluttered right now. But your competing with the junkyard here. Make me an offer thats better than the raw metal and its probably yours. At about 15 cents a pound, thats not much. Take this stuff away! |

Car: 1991 Firebird Engine: 305 TBI | Re: Parts in IL, must go by 05/09 Nope. I wish they looked as good in real life as they did in that picture though. I replaced the hood because I wanted the formula hood you see in my avatar, I replaced the hatch because its rusting around the base of the spoiler. Might be repairable, but I wanted the wrap around spoiler anyways. But I know the glass on it is still great. Come take em. No remotely reasonable offer refused. |

Car: 1991 Firebird Engine: 305 TBI | Re: Parts in IL, must go by 05/09 Yup, the formula hood. I like it alot better than the base hood and thats why this one is for sale. Anyone else? Window motor for $20, hood and hatch for scrap metal prices! |

Just hood, hatch and window motors are salvagable from the parts I pulled off. I'm getting a parts car next weekend, and I will have the nose from an 84 avaiable if your interested though. |

I had to use a screwdriver to get him to come loose. I will have the motor and trans pulled this week as well as the interior cleaned and pulled out into the parking lot ready for you to come and get. But ok ill keep looking for parts, what all do you have left on the car that you are getting rid of? or missalenous parts laying around? |

Car: 1991 Firebird Engine: 305 TBI | Re: Parts in IL, must go by 05/09 Well i'm not getting rid of the car, I'm fixing it up, which includes alot of removal and replacement (which is why the interior is gone and I need the interior from the car I'm getting saturday). I've got the hood, hatch and doors laying around on this car. The metal on the doors is terrible and useless, but I have the window motors, windows, window tracks and anything else that is in the doors. however, the power lock motors seem to be dying, so I doubt anyone would want those. |

My driver side lock wont even let the key in and just turns freely in the door itself. are the door seals on the outside of the door where the window comes through any good? Once you c my car on saturday if u have anything i may need let me know and we can work out a deal. Did those doors have power mirrors by any chance? if so i may be interested in the pass. mirror motor. |

Car: 1991 Firebird Engine: 305 TBI | Re: Parts in IL, must go by 05/09 Nope, no power mirrors. I'm not completely sure what seal your talking about, but most of the rubber seals on the windows is cracked and crumbling, so I'd imagine no.
In terms of the lock actuator, they do work just fine. The locks on the doors seemed to do just fine manually, but when you hit the power lock button, you had to hit it 4 or 5 times for them to work. |

I was told the cars that came with power locks came with remotes for them as well from the factory but i cant ever find a real answer to that question. Especially for an 88 t/a. |
