Used Bilstein Struts

I have two used Bilstein struts with approximately 30,000 miles on them. These are Bilstein part number F4-VE3-C522-H0. The one strut is bad and needs to be rebuilt, the other one is in good condition. Since I did not keep my receipt Bilstein won't replace the bad one for free. I did contact Bilstein and they will rebuild the struts for $75 each if you send them back. So if you want some used struts and want to send them to Bilstein you have an option. These struts are in no way perfect condition they do have miles on them and one is definitely bad. The bad one hisses at full compression and clunked when on the car. If you are interested let me know.

Re: Used Bilstein Struts

$100 for both shocks plus approximately $40 freight via UPS ground. If you need pictures I can provide them. Hopefully Bilstein includes replacement boots for the $75 rebuild charge. The boots that are on there just have some holes in them from going up and down for a few years. Bilstein also said the warranty is for 30 days but Raul Medina from Bilstein said they should last 100,000 miles. I only wish the original ones I had lasted that long =).
