Brother, the louvers do come apart. The ABS plastic sides will slide apart from the middle slats, I just took apart and shipped a set 2 weeks ago for like $20.

These do not look like they come apart. The sides are not plastic.

These look like they are crimped together. They do not have plastic sides.
The sides ARE ABS, and they WILL come apart.
