custom rear wing

Im making myself a custom rear wing for my TA. I am going to make molds and possibly sell a couple to offset the cost of making everything. Let me know if you guys are interested. Im not sure on price yet but it will be near what stock replacement fiberglass ones sell for. It will use the original hardware as the stock piece. Also this will be going on my car as well so the quality will be as good as it gets. See what you think

Re: custom rear wing

thanks guys. This will be a winter project for me. Ill post pics when i get molds made and make the first one. As of now im putting finishing touches on the prototype. As you can see its a mix of the stock look and a drag wing. I didn't want it looking like that import ****.

Re: custom rear wing

the mecham wing is more import ish. it sticks up way too far. This one go from touching the hatch in the front to about 3 inches above it. Im still messin with the design so if you guys see things that would make it better let me know.

Re: custom rear wing

Looks nice, I'll have to tell my friend who has a '89 GTA. Kinda reminds me of the fox body Saleen Mustang wing.

Re: custom rear wing

Agreed! The Saleen Mustangs, especially the 'verts, look a bit like shopping carts.

Re: custom rear wing

HAHA. Yea i googled those saleen foxes. Wow. Maybe i should take a little off the end so it doesnt stick back so far. We figured it would look nice and symmetrical if it stuck out as much as the bumper but idk now

Just remember that the 91/92 stick out differently. I forget which bumper is shorter, but they aren't the same.

If you make it fit the long one, it'll look took long on the shorter bumper.
