$100.00 in Indiana but you'll drive bye 100 auto glass companies, spend the gas and could get it the same price at one!

Re: windshild

If you can wait a few days, I'm getting an 83 firebird parts car, and I'll gladly sell you any glass you want that can be removed without breaking. I'm in Normal, IL so it wouldn't be a far drive.

Re: windshild

Sorry, the parts car is extremely prone to twisting, and while towing it home, it developed cracks in the rear quarterpanels, as well as the windshield. I didn't even get a chance to try removing it. I guess that's why it's a parts car...

Well if for some reason you are in allentow PA 18103. I have one from an 87ta I belive they are the same. I'd only want like 20 bucks for it plus you would have to cut it out as I don't have the tools for that.

Re: windshild

good luck finding one for 20 bucks and not taking the chance of breaking it while pulling ,traveling with ,and installing it let a pro do it for around $200 annd you get a warrantywith it safelite auto glass they will come to you. anoter thing the glass is held in with aspecial epoxy and becomes a part of the stucture of the car when installed properly

Re: windshild

225 in springfield was the best i got for a new one installed in my 82 t/a and they even traveled 30 miles to come and do it, last fall

you wont succeed in taking one from a car and putting it in yours it wil break regardless when removing it they are bed glued to the frame and virtually impossible ot remove without breakage unless you are a magician and extremely lucky

i bought the parts car from campin haha

good luck

Re: windshild

There is not much left on that car. I keep wondering why people say you can't remove them. When I was in school we cut out a windshild and replaced it with a used one on a 4th gen it's just a matter of having the right tools. if you have a couple different sized windshild blades the ones with the T handles on a cable to help pull them around and good technice it can be done fairly easy. I would buy the tools to cut mine out but it is a lot of expence for not a lot of return.
