Re: 1986-1992 TRANS AM VENTED FENDERS

I have a black and gold set from an 84 t/a. I'm not aware of any difference from an 84-86.

Re: 1986-1992 TRANS AM VENTED FENDERS

84's had larger vents and won't work with the 85+ ground effects.

I've got a set from an 85. Slight surface rust on one, but no dents what-so-ever.

PM me info.

Looking at things again, let me clarify it a bit. I believe the vent holes are the same on the early ones, but you would have to put an 85+ vent in to work. In addition, you would have to add new GFX holes in an earlier fender.

If you look at the pics, you can see that the vent holes extend past the holes for the GFX, but the actual vent doesn't.

Re: 1986-1992 TRANS AM VENTED FENDERS

vent opening holes in fenders are same all years

the vents had smaller hole in them certain years

no diff in fenders

but gfx changed in 84 so there are different holes in fenders for gfx 84 aero and 85-up

from the 82 83 and non aero 84 ones.

84 was a screwball year

kind of complicated

you are rights theres a difference but its with gfx holes, and not in the vent holes

camaros same way

consoles same way

dashes same way

84 last year

85 new first year

bumper covers as well.

door/rocker gfx also
