Car: 1985 Firebird SE Engine: 305 Transmission: 700-4r Axle/Gears: 9 Bolt | Firebird body panels (prefer white) near Atlanta
Until and unless the car sells, I'm going under the idea I'll do a body-off rebuild around thanksgiving and continue to gather parts. What I'm looking for, prefer white for all parts:
* Both doors, prefer power window/manual lock. MUST be non-ground effect. MUST be rust free and dent free, including on the inner lip on the underside. Prefer something complete with all internals and glass.
* rust free dent free ding free front fenders from a non-ground effects car.
* rear trunk lid with pedestal style spoiler, non-3rd brake light style, no rust on undersife or in seams.
* passenger rear qtr patch for behind rear tire, extending an inch or two up from the body line and wrapping all the way underneath (spare tire well area)
* hood, would consider GTA/Trans am style or Powerbulge Formula style, no dings/dents, no rust on underside/seams.
The parts I have have some surface rust starting in the seams and I'd prefer replace it than deal with sanding them out and re-sealing. Looking for something reasonably close to Atlanta, as I'd rather pay in cash and pick-up the parts so they can be checked over well before taking them. | | | |
