I need the air deflector (some call it air dam) side brackets (seem them called bumper fillers among other things) for mounting it for my 89 Firebird...I can find the air deflector pretty easy but the mounting pieces are another story
Are you talking about the lower Air dam that gets mounted under the nose on each side?? Do they look something like this ?? ( These are for a Camaro - I understand your car is an 89 Firebird.... )
actually the ones for mine are in three seperate pieces...the side pieces have more bolt holes too...looks different but I sure appreciate your efforts
There's a Firebird set-up around here too but I didn't have pictures of it and just wanted to verify that it was the right type of part. I'll try to get pics of the Firebird set-up for you tomorrow.
P.S. Can't get shipping quotes unless you post your ZIP.

thanks for that help....if I saw pics of the correct pieces I'd be pretty sure I'd recognize it...
I saw the lone TA in our local JY today and confirmed again the TA and GTA are different from the base model and formula birds
PM me with an offer if these are the right ones. I did check on shipping for Ya'..... ( includes insurance.) They are used so there is some paint overspray ( on the hidden side ) a small crack ( in a good place ) as well as some scratches.......
There are No damaged mounting holes.
Parcel Post: $24
Priority Mail: $14.50
P.S. I couldn't find anything that looked like a matching third piece.
are you sure the e bay piece isn't a TA/GTA only application?
I saw that on the printout of the exploded view the pontiac dealer gave me but it's clear on it the view was a TA front as the ground effects were clearly shown in the pic...
he didn't have one (pic) for the base/Formula models
man if I need that piece too...sheesh...
getting this stuff together has been like pulling teeth...
the people I got this car from must've only driven it in town...it came from orlando suburbs...mostly built up and little open road...

We have a 1984 trans am that we are parting out. all the parts are there. nothing has been sold yet. send me a photo for the part you are looking for and i will beat anybodys price.
that's what I need...just about positive...the side brackets (mounting pieces) and the main fin/foil/deflector put together...looks like it will line right up to my existing bolt holes...
the only thing left is, does it need that hard rigid piece behind that like in the T/A and GTA set ups...like the ebay link the guy put up for TA
don't remember seeing one of those on my old 86 bird but then that was a while ago and memory is fuzzy...
seems like at 70 mph that plastic would start to bend and flex quite a bit???
anyway at least we have pics now
if I can actually get the parts and end this quest I may have to uncork a bottle of bubbly after all the searching
Got the parts from John this aft, (in nice shape for the price imho) and after dinner got them mounted...went pretty smoothly and it helped a lot that the bolt holes were in good shape...
can't wait to get the car out on the open raod now and see how much difference the Air deflector set up getting replaced will make...
wasn't easy finding all four pieces, esp all together...(thanks again on that John)
thanks too for all the feedback and esp to the guy in the cooling thread who upon reading my orig clueless post about heating up only at hwy speeds, who so effortlessly said "go out and look under your car and see if the air dam is still there"
